UPDATE #4: A tip in by John Cannon of Heritage pushes the lead to 62-55 with under 1:06 left to play in the game. Free thross by Cannon gives the Cougars a 64-55 advantage with 45 seconds to play.
FINAL SCORE: Mountain Heritage 70, Mitchell 59. The Cougars will play Madison for the men's varsity tournament title.
The Avery Lady Vikings will take on Madison in the JV ladies championship at 4 pm on Friday, while the Avery varsity girls will take on Mitchell in the varsity girls championship at around 7 p.m.
