MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Pfeiffer's Megan Reaves converted a free kick from 20-yards out in the 12th minute to give the Pfeiffer University Lady Falcons a 1-0 win over the Lees-McRae Lady Bobcats in Conference Carolinas women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at N.E. Lefko Field.

Lees-McRae drops to 10-7-1, 7-4 and will be the #5 seed next week in opening round of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. It is the highest ranking under head coach Renee Lopez.

A Lady Bobcat foul just outside the 18-yard box in the 12th minute gave the Lady Falcons the all-important free kick. Taking the shot, Reaves fired just to the right of the Bobcats defensive wall and past the keeper for the lone goal of the match.

Pfeiffer outshot Lees-McRae 24-3 on the afternoon.

The Lady Bobcats open the tournament as they travel to Queens Monday at 7p.m for their match.
