Melinda Eggers (Volleyball) and Lucas Lecka (Football) are the Edward Jones Scholar Athletes of the Week. Each student currently participates in a varsity sport at Avery High School and maintains an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or better.The Scholar Athlete Award is given for their outstanding performance – not only on the playing field, but also in the game of life.
