Lady Vikings Advance to WHC Semis

The #2 seeded Avery Lady Vikings had no trouble in dispatching of #7 Hendersonville Lady Bearcats 68-28 in the first quarterfinal game of the Western Highlands Conference basketball tournament at Mitchell High School.

Laura Lacey led the Vikings with 15 points, four assists, and three steals in the win. Avery held the Lady Bearcats scoreless in the first quarter en route to a 9-0 lead after one period.
