The Avery Lady Vikings were decisive in winning 70-47 over visiting Swain County Thursday night. Kimberley Gragg led all Avery scorers with 12 points, followed by 10 points each from Laura Lacey and Joy Jennings.
Avery hosts the #7 ranked Hiwassee Dam Lady Eagles in the Sectional Final Friday night. Hiwassee Dam defeated Alleghany on Wednesday to advance to the third round.
