The Avery Vikings boys soccer team traveled the 140+ mile trip to Highlands High School Wednesday night for the opening round of the NCHSAA 1A soccer playoffs, and was unable to pick up the road victory, losing by the final score of 4-3 in overtime.Avery finishes its season with a record of 13-8-2.
