The Avery 11 and 12 year old Little League Baseball and Softball All-Stars returned to the diamond on Saturday afternoon in Boone.
In softball action, the Watauga team played well and took advantage of limited openings by the Avery defense to take a 15-0 final score in four innings. Unfortunately for the Avery faithful, the 11 and 12 baseball team had difficulty shutting down a hot hitting Watauga National club, leading 6-0 after one frame and went on to take a 17-1 win in four frames.
